Project Team Submission Instruction Quiz 1
Jan 26

I need to hear from you what you like and do not like about the class, lectures, my style of teaching, etc.

We have done 6 lectures, so about 20-25% done with semester along with 1 guest lecture (2-3 more in pipeline). Give your feedback as “comments” to this blog entry. Just put a dummy name/email combination if you want the feedback to me anonymous. This is purely for your benefit and a small effort from 37 of you can go a long way to improve the remaining 75% of the semester.

Thank you in advance.

Guest lecture suggestions are also welcome here:

For each hour of lecture, students are expected to spend 2-3 hours of study time (in non-exam days). This is a world-wide standard.

So for your 6 courses, you attend 15 hours of lectures. This means you should be spending 30 to 45 hours studying outside of class

This brings total output of a student between 45 to 60 hours per week - approximately the same expected out of you when you join the work force in a years time.

So question to you - are you spending 30 to 45 hours outside of class-room on your courses? Have you spent 15-20 hours on E-Commerce over the last 3 weeks, outside of class?

As for current assignment, its a team based assignment. Assuming it takes 30 man-hours, each of the 6 of you need to give your 5 hours to it.
